My first solo art show?
I went to an art show recently with two good friends of mine whom brought to my attention that I really haven’t attempted to have my own art show. My explanation(slash excuse) was that solos don’t happen that easily, you gotta have a legit and worthy body of work along with a curator who stands behind it and supports it enough to think it’s worthy of solo art show in their gallery space.. And their answer, more or less, was “well fuck the curator have your own show” So yea fck it. I’m determined to have an art show by the end of this summer, even if it ends up being in someone’s basement..
